Import a Subscription and Connect
Create an account → Choose a plan → Get your subscription → Import it into a client → Verify the connection. If this is your first time, follow the steps in order. If you already have a subscription, jump to the section for your platform.
Create an Account and Save Your Credentials
Open the VPNSeven user panel using the link below. Create an account with a username and password—no email address required. Your username is used to sign in, so check it carefully before submitting the form. Choose a password that you don’t use on other websites, and save it with your device’s password manager so you can find it when switching devices.
If the account overview opens after you submit the form, you can go ahead and choose a plan. If the panel asks you to sign in, use the username and password you just saved. If you see an error, check the fields as prompted instead of creating another account. After signing in, make sure you’re using the account you intend to use; all subsequent orders, plans, and subscriptions should be managed under that account.
An account and a client are two different things. Your account gives you access to the user panel; the client loads your subscription and connects on your device. Set up your account and plan before importing the subscription into a client. This avoids repeatedly changing connection settings without an active subscription. Sign out of the panel when you’re done on a shared device, and don’t leave saved passwords or subscription links on a shared clipboard.
The button label does not promise a set free period or data allowance. Check the user panel for the features currently available. After creating your account, continue by checking the plans.
Choose a Plan and Complete Payment
Open the Plans section of the user panel. Compare monthly subscriptions with data packages, then choose based on your usage. Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the date you activate the plan; it does not necessarily reset at the start of each calendar month. Plans allow unlimited devices to be connected at the same time, but device count and available data are separate. Keep an eye on your account’s data balance when using multiple devices.
If you prefer to pay by data usage, you can also choose a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data remains valid indefinitely and is used until it runs out. Before choosing, check the plan name, price, and billing method shown in the panel; don’t compare plans by data allowance alone. See the Plans page for full pricing and terms, then return to the user panel to continue.
After choosing a plan, check the items and total on the order page, then pay using the Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT option shown in the panel. When payment is complete, return to the user panel and check that the order status and plan are displayed. Completing payment does not mean the client has received its configuration; next, go to the account overview to get your subscription. If the order status hasn’t updated yet, refresh the order history and check again to avoid submitting the same request twice.
VPNSeven offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. If you upgrade a monthly subscription partway through, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Don’t try to calculate the result by subtracting full monthly prices; check the upgrade details shown in the panel. If the payment status doesn’t match, keep your order details and explain the issue through a user panel support ticket. Don’t post payment credentials on a public page.
Get Your Subscription from the Overview
Once your plan status is confirmed, open the account overview and find the subscription or import section. Check that the plan and data details match your selection, then copy the subscription link or use the client import option. A subscription link is not a website address to open in your browser; it gives the client access to server configurations. After copying it, paste it into the client’s remote subscription URL field, not the server name or local file path field.
If the panel offers direct import, install the client first, then return to the panel and use that option. Your browser may ask whether to open an external app; check the app name before proceeding. If nothing happens when you click, don’t keep clicking—copy the link and add it manually instead. Direct import and manual entry both pass the same subscription information to the client, so use whichever method works.
The example below is for recognizing the link format only; it cannot be used to connect. For setup, use the subscription URL in your current account overview:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
Your subscription URL contains access credentials. Don’t post it in public discussions or include the full URL in an error screenshot. When copying, make sure the URL is complete and don’t add quotation marks, line breaks, or other text. After importing, the client will show a configuration name, server list, or subscription update result. Seeing a configuration name alone doesn’t confirm that the servers have loaded; check that the update has completed.
To switch devices, sign in to the same account on the new device, get the subscription from the overview, and import it using the steps for that platform. You don’t need to create another account. If the subscription section doesn’t show what you expect, first check your account and plan status. For specific issues, see the Help Center.
Import the Client for Your Platform
Start in the Clients section of the user panel and choose a client or download guide for your device’s operating system. Use a client that supports the subscription format provided in the panel; don’t paste the link into a client that expects a different configuration format. The sections below explain where to import on desktop and mobile. If menu names differ, look for an option such as “Remote subscription” or “Add from URL.”
Windows: Add a Subscription in Configuration Settings
Sign in to the user panel and get the client for Windows. Install and launch it by following the installer instructions. Open the client’s configuration or subscription manager and choose an option such as Add remote configuration or Import from URL. Paste the subscription URL copied from the account overview. If a name is required, enter one that’s easy to recognize, making sure to put the name and subscription URL in their respective fields.
Save the subscription and update it. Wait for the server list to appear, then set this configuration as active. Follow the client’s instructions to enable the system proxy; if you choose virtual network adapter mode, grant the required permissions when prompted. For your first connection, use the client’s default rule mode and don’t run other proxy tools at the same time. If servers appear but websites look unchanged, check the active configuration and proxy toggle instead of reinstalling the client.
macOS: Import the Subscription and Grant Network Permissions
Choose the macOS client in the panel and follow its instructions to get the right installer for your device. Once the client is open, choose Add from URL in the subscription or configuration list, paste the link, and update the configuration. If the panel offers direct import, you can use your browser to open the installed client, then confirm the new subscription in the client. Don’t stop at the browser’s redirect prompt.
When you connect, macOS may ask you to allow a VPN configuration, network extension, or other network permissions. Check that the app named in the prompt matches the client you just installed, then follow the system instructions to grant access. Return to the client and check the connection status. If the network extension hasn’t been approved, the subscription may import successfully but the connection may not work. Permission settings vary by macOS version; if you can’t find the right option, check the prompt in System Settings or see the troubleshooting guide.
Android: Add a Subscription and Allow the VPN Connection
Get the Android client from the user panel. After installing it, open the subscription or configuration page and choose an option to import from a URL, link, or remote subscription. Paste the copied URL into the address field, save it, and update the subscription. Once the server list has loaded, select this configuration. If you have older configurations, make sure the one you just imported is active.
When you tap Connect, Android will show a VPN connection request. Check the app name and allow the connection. Once connected, check the status in the client or your system’s network settings. If the connection drops when you switch to another app, check the client’s background and battery settings and allow it to run as needed. Verify that the connection works before changing background settings; you don’t need to adjust unrelated system options during initial setup.
iOS: Import a Configuration Using the Panel’s Instructions
For the iOS client, follow the instructions in the user panel. Accounts with a purchased, unexpired plan can access the corresponding App Store link. After installing the app, find the add option in the subscription or configuration list, choose Import from URL, and paste the subscription URL from the account overview. Save it. If you import directly from a browser, confirm in the client that the configuration was added and updated.
Select a configuration and server, then connect. Allow the VPN configuration when prompted and complete any identity confirmation required by your device. Return to the client and check the connection status. If another VPN configuration is already set up in System Settings, avoid having multiple apps compete for the connection. Turn off the other connection before testing this one. Don’t repeatedly delete system configurations instead of checking whether the subscription updated successfully.
Linux users can also get the appropriate client from the user panel, import the subscription using its remote subscription option, and confirm that their desktop environment or app is using the proxy. System proxy and network permission settings vary widely by distribution, so this guide doesn’t cover command-line configuration. For environment-specific issues, follow the symptoms in Troubleshooting.
Connect to a Server and Verify It Works
After importing, update the subscription, enable the active configuration, choose a server, and connect. When choosing a server, consider the region required by your target service, then check how it works in practice; a region name alone does not guarantee availability on a particular platform. VPNSeven offers 90+ countries / 210+ servers; the options available to you are listed in your account’s subscription. For details on IEPL dedicated lines, relays, and direct connections, see the server list and selection guide.
Check both the client status and the results in your apps. First, confirm that the client shows an active connection. Open a website you normally use to make sure your local network is still working, then visit the international website or AI tool you want to use. If the page was already open before connecting, refresh it or open it again so cached content doesn’t look like a connection result. In rule mode, different websites may use a direct or proxied connection depending on the rules, so a change on one local website doesn’t show how all traffic is routed.
Once a website loads, test the features you actually use, such as signing in, loading content, or playing video. Login access, account region, and content permissions are determined by the target platform; connecting through a proxy doesn’t grant eligibility to use that platform. If you see a region notice, first check the selected server, then review the target platform’s account requirements. If performance is slow, compare servers in the same client first. Avoid changing the network mode, DNS, and multiple rule sets at once, or it will be hard to tell which change made a difference.
If the client won’t connect at all, check whether the subscription updated successfully, the current configuration is enabled, and system permissions are granted. If the client shows connected but a website won’t open, try other websites and servers, then check whether the app is using the current proxy. Change one thing at a time and note what happens before and after. For a more detailed process, see connection troubleshooting. For common setup instructions, visit the Help Center. There’s no need to change advanced settings one by one during initial setup.
If you still need help, submit a support ticket through the user panel. Include your device’s operating system, client name, the feature that isn’t working, when the issue started, and the checks you’ve already tried. Hide your password, full subscription URL, and payment details in screenshots. Describing the specific stage—such as “subscription update failed” or “connected but websites won’t load”—makes it easier to diagnose than saying only that it doesn’t work. Once the connection is working, keep the active configuration and use the client’s subscription update feature to get future changes.
